Chris & Joy Konop
Chris & Joy where the first candidates through ServantWings. They also are the furthest along from their class at Moody Aviation to reaching their goal of overseas service. We like to think this is because of their paticipation in the ServantWings program.
Please check out their news letter and more interesitng their blog.

ALUMNI WHO HAVE TRAINED WITH SERVANTWINGS
The reason ServantWings exists.
Slick and Donna Douglass
From the skies over Iraq to the African brush, Slick and Donna use aviation as a powerful and practical tool. Originally trained as fighter pilots in the F-16 and F-117 Stealth Fighter, God brought them together during assignment and deployment to South Korea. They married in Colorado then moved to South Carolina where God used them greatly in adult running and triathlon ministry with Fellowship of Christian Athletes Endurance. In February 2010 they fine-tuned their general aviation skills in the ServantWings Cessna 206 traveled off to Boise for standardization work with MAF. As they train, both are also finishing a master’s in Biblical Exposition from Columbia International University’s seminary. They have been commissioned as missionaries with Africa Inland Mission (AIM) and will complete a year of French training before arriving in Nairobi, Kenya. They will be serving with AIM-AIR, AIM’s aviation arm with their (at this writing) 5 month old daughter Zoe and Chili, their indefatigable Australian Shepherd. Follow along on their journey through Donna’s blog.

Retired Director of Operations
Will & Nan Grant
Our year has been one of discovering how to rest between the shoulders of God and listen to HIS heartbeat. As one, we have finally begun to find God’s rhythm for our lives.
Resting in between God's Shoulders:
Will is working as an A&P Mechanic for Hillsboro Aviation. In his "free time" he is diligently honing his flight skills for his Technical Evaluation with MAF this fall. This spring, God brought the perfect job for Nan. She is now working as the Port Kids Director of Westport Church. It is amazing to watch as God has perfectly laid out the details in our lives. God daily uses the skills HE gave us – Will as a pilot/mechanic and Nan as a teacher - to further HIS kingdom.
God's Heartbeat:
Our desire is to serve God throughout the world and spread HIS love with no boundaries. We desire to gather partners throughout the world to support us prayerfully and financially so the world may know the truth and life found in God alone.
We know that whatever God has designed for our future, HE will make possible. We desire to take God's love to the world: to the abandoned, forgotten and hopeless. No matter what God intends for our lives, we will go. Our lives are not our own... we belong to Christ.
